The choice of the Utah fishing trip depends on what type of fish you are interested in catching. Consider Bear Lake for mackinaw, cutthroat and rainbow trout.
If you want to plan Utah fishing trips for fly-fishing in the eastern part of the state, you should consider the Gigliotti Pond in Helper City, Beaver Dam inlet area at Scofield Reservoir, Huntington North Reservoir, and Millsite state park area. If you like catfish, try planning Utah fishing trips after the spring runoff, when catfish are readily available in the Colorado, Green, and San Juan Rivers.
